For the year 2022-23, Go Digit’s claim settlement ratio was 96.83%, meaning most claims were successfully paid. Go Digit has a CSR above 80%, which is considered good. This means the company settles most claim requests. Plus, they have a dedicated team to handle claims quickly and smoothly.

Documents Needed for Digit Health Insurance Claim

To make a claim under Digit Health Insurance, you need the following documents:

  • Filled and signed claim form
  • Hospital discharge summary
  • Original hospital bills with break-up
  • Original pharmacy bills with prescriptions and investigation reports
  • Doctor’s certificate from the attending physician
  • Investigation papers, consultations, and digital images/CDs of procedures
  • Cancelled cheque, KYC (Photo ID), and bank details
  • Medical records (OT notes, case papers, PAC notes, if needed)
  • For maternity claims – Birth discharge summary & ante-natal record
  • For accident cases – MLC/FIR report
  • For death/disability claims – Post-mortem report, disability/death certificate, and original invoice/sticker (if applicable)**

Claim Process of Digit Health Insurance

1Follow these simple steps to make a cashless claim

  • Inform Go Digit: If your hospital stay is planned, inform Go Digit at least 48 hours before admission. For emergencies, notify them within 24 hours of hospitalization.
  • Show Your E-Health Card: Go to the insurance helpdesk at the hospital and get the pre-approval form.
  • Fill & Submit the Form: Complete and sign the form, then submit it at the helpdesk.
  • Approval Process: If everything is correct, Go Digit will approve your cashless treatment. You must start treatment within 15 days of approval.
  • Bill Settlement: After your discharge, the hospital will send the bill to Go Digit, and they will pay directly to the hospital.

2Follow these simple steps to get a Reimbursement claim

  • Inform Go Digit: Tell the insurer about your hospital stay. For emergencies, inform them within 24 hours. For planned treatments, inform them at least 2 days before admission. They will send you a link to upload your documents and bank details.
  • Pay the Bills & Collect Documents: You must pay all bills when leaving the hospital and collect all medical reports and receipts.
  • Sign & Label Documents: Sign all documents and write "For Digit Insurance" on them before uploading. Keep the original copies for reference.
  • Upload Documents on Time: Submit scanned copies of all documents within 30 days of hospital discharge.
  • Get Reimbursement: Go Digit will process your claim and send the payment within 30 days after receiving all documents.

You can make as many claims as needed in a year, but the total amount cannot be more than your sum insured.

For emergencies, inform within 24 hours of hospitalization. For planned treatments, inform at least 72 hours before admission.
