What Is Covered and Not Covered Under Liberty Third-Party Car Insurance?
When you buy car insurance, it is important to know what the policy includes and what it does not. Here are the things covered and not covered under Kotak Third-Party Car Insurance:
What it Covers
Liberty’s third-party car insurance includes the following:
Liberty will pay for damage or loss caused to another person in an accident.
It covers injury or death of a third party (any person other than you) caused by your car.
It pays for damage done to someone else’s vehicle or property by your car (up to the allowed limit).
You can get Personal Accident Cover for the owner-driver if you add it separately (up to the limit allowed by law).
What Does it not Covers
The Liberty third-party plan does not cover:
It does not pay for damage to your own car.
It does not pay for loss due to natural disasters, fire, theft, riots, or similar events.
No cover if the car was driven by someone without a valid driving licence, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
It does not cover any injury or damage to the driver/owner unless a PA cover is purchased separately.
It does not cover regular wear and tear, mechanical breakdown, or later/indirect damage to your car.
