Cholamandalam will send a surveyor to check the car damage. If you have the ‘On-site Minor Repair’ add-on, minor damages can be repaired at the accident spot.

If the car cannot move, request a tow. The insurer provides free towing up to 50 km:Rs 3,000 with ‘Transfer Cost Reimbursement’ add-onRs 1,500 with ‘Transfer of Covered Vehicle’ add-onThe car will be taken to the nearest authorised garage.

The garage will repair your car, and Cholamandalam will pay the garage directly. You can also upload documents online on the ‘Motor Claims’ page.
