The sum insured (amount covered) can be 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, or 15 lakhs.Main Features:50% discount on the premium for girl children.Critical illness cover: You get 10% of the insured amount if you are diagnosed with a serious illness.Personal accident cover: You can get up to 100% of the insured amount if an accident happens.Costs for Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy are fully covered (up to the insured amount).Pre-existing diseases are covered after 36 months (3 years).Some specific diseases are covered after 24 months (2 years).
New India Floater Mediclaim Policy
This health insurance plan is for people between 18 and 65 years old. Children from 3 months to 25 years can also be covered if they depend on you for money. You can keep renewing the policy for your whole life, as long as you pay on time. You can choose the amount of coverage (Sum Insured) from: 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, or 15 lakhs. Everyone covered under this plan will share one total coverage amount (this is called a floater policy). You can add a minimum of 2 people and up to 6 people in one policy.Main Features:If you do not make any claims in a year, your sum insured increases by 25% as a bonus (up to 50% max).This plan also covers newborn babies.Critical illness benefit: 10% of the sum insured if a serious illness is found.You can add your newly married spouse in the middle of the policy period.Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy treatments are fully covered (up to the sum insured).Ambulance charges are covered up to 1% of the sum insured.The premium (price) depends on your age and the zone (location) you live in.

This health insurance plan is for people between 18 and 65 years old. Children aged 3 months to 25 years can also be included in the policy, as long as they are financially dependent on you. The policy can be renewed for life, as long as you pay the premium on time. You can choose the Sum Insured (coverage amount) from 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, or 15 lakhs. (Note: The 4, 6, and 7 lakh options are only available for people who are renewing an existing policy.) Each person under the policy will have their own separate coverage amount, which is not shared with other members.Main Features:If you do not make a claim in a year, your sum insured goes up by 25%, up to a maximum of 50% extra.You get a free health check-up after 3 years without a claim.Covers newborn babies.Pre-existing diseases (illnesses you had before taking the policy) are covered after 3 years.Some specific illnesses are covered after 2 years.Organ transplant costs are also covered.
