If you have a ManipalCigna health policy, you can choose cashless claims or reimbursement claims, depending on what is easier for you.For Cashless Claims You can get cashless treatment only at a network hospital (a hospital tied up with ManipalCigna). Here is how to do it:If your hospital visit is planned, tell ManipalCigna at least 48 hours before you go to the hospital. If it is an emergency, inform ManipalCigna within 24 hours after getting admitted.Show your health card and photo ID at the hospital’s TPA desk.The hospital will send your documents and request to the insurance company.ManipalCigna will check everything and give initial approval for treatment.After your treatment, the hospital will send all final bills to the insurance company.ManipalCigna will then check the bills and pay the hospital directly.For Reimbursement Claims If you are not using a network hospital, you can pay the bills first and get your money back later. Here is how:Inform ManipalCigna 48 hours before planned treatment or within 24 hours after emergency admission.Get your treatment and pay the full hospital bill at discharge.Fill out the claim form and attach all medical bills and papers.Submit the documents to the nearest ManipalCigna office.After checking your papers, the insurance company will pay the money to your bank account.
